Some fights are with a boss-like character. If you defeat that actor with the mirror version while earning three or more stars you can unlock the alternate costume.- The "bosses" are:

- All costumes (unlocked players only) - click the left joystick then press B, A, DOWN, B, A, B, Y.
- Fight as Candi - click the left joystick then press LEFT, A, DOWN, Y, START, DOWN, A, Y.
- Fight as Won Ton - click the left joystick then press LEFT, A, RIGHT, DOWN, Y, B, UP, DOWN.
- Fight as Shao Ting - click on the left joystick then press WHITE, A, LEFT, RIGHT, UP, START, B, A, LEFT, DOWN, Y.
