The worst of the ND series 2
I have every ND game and this is the worst of the bunch. In fact, it's the only ND game that I never finished playing. Way too much driving and not enough sleuthing. I got bored with it very quickly. The underwater games were almost impossible without online cheats, and that was junior mode. If this were the only ND game I had ever been exposed to, I would never play another ND game again. There are many other ND games out there that are definitely worth playing, such as Deception Island, or Shadow Ranch. This one just happened to be in the same boat as Castle Malloy...boring. Hopefully HI was just hitting a slump and they're on the rebound.

Extremely Challenging But Loads of Fun 4
This game is definitely packed to the brim with some difficult puzzles but that's what makes it so much fun. As far as the underwater puzzles go: a cell phone with a camera, a notebook, a box of matchsticks, and some well placed game saves are all that are needed to solve them with 1/4 - 1/2 Oxygen still left in your scuba tank provided you do understand the objective of each puzzle.
There were, however, some really annoying puzzles to contend with in this game (Camel, Hourglass, Order of the animal disks). While portions of these puzzles were easy enough to solve, other parts were just too obtuse. For example, in the Camel puzzle, you have to realize that it's 2 fold. The first part is completely disorienting while the second half was basic. The same thing with figuring out the order of the Animal disks ( I would never have known where the solution was) though "dialing" them in was pretty straightforward. As for the Hourglass puzzle: the order can be found readily enough but I could never get the timing down pat without looking it up. Still, I thought it was the coolest puzzle of the game.
The final puzzle (Door) seemed to contradict its own logic. I was able to solve it although it seemed like it was just by blind chance.
Aside from those 4 puzzles + having to go on a time- wasting scavenger hunt for a parrot perch, I really enjoyed this game. Loved the graphics, setting, and soundtrack. I really didn't mind the monkeys either. Plus you get to see George & Bess. And the scuba diving was great! I'd recommend it

You let us down, Nancy 1
Let me start by first saying that we have always LOVED the Nancy Drew games and have played them all...but not this time! This is the most frustrating game!! I don't mind the difficulty of the puzzles, but the time wasted trying to get around the island and especially the ocean was ridiculous!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! We aren't a "directionally challenged" family but we spent hours "lost" during the game. The game wasn't even that interesting either.

Fun setting 5
I used to play these games with my daughter, but now that she's 11, she plays by herself! We always liked Nancy's friends Bess & George, and in this game you can switch between "being Nancy," to "being George." The setting is beachy, and you can get in a golf cart and drive around. The monkeys are really, really funny....

worse of them all 1
I have played every single ND game there is, including the dossier series...and this is the ONLY ONE I have quit and not bothered to finish..and have no desire to. The endless and aimless driving of the golf cart drove me nuts, as it started out being the "prime" action to find things. All I could think was "Oh NO, please don't let this last long"....No way was I going to continue that for any great length of time. SO when I checked reviews, I found out that much of the game does indeed use the golf cart and then a boat...Yikes. While Kapu Cave was short, and rather tedious with repetitive seashell hunting, this game comes 1st for the worst, with KC coming 2nd. I hope HerInteractive's next adventure has some mystery to it and FUN. I don't enjoy games that require a total walk-through and having to look up sequences to avoid running around in circles. This was sadly a horrible game, and if the next of the series is as bad, looks like years of eagerly playing ND games will come to an end.
