Street Fighter Alpha 3 cheat codes, tricks, hints, and walk throughs.

"ISMs"

Shadowlow-ISM -- characters Air Block, Z-Counter and perform Super Combos.
X-ISM -- characters cannot Air Block and are limited to one Super Combo.
V-ISM -- characters cannot Air Block and perform only classic combos.
Z-ISM -- characters can Air Block as well as perform Z-Counters.

A Key to Software Localization

Depending upon whether the title was produced for the domestic (Japanese) market or a foreign one, some characters assume different names.

Enable 1P + 2P VS CPU

To pit both human characters against computer opponents, player one should select "Dramatic Battle", choosing either "1P and Com VS Com" or "Original Dramatic Battle" game modes. Then choose a normal course. Player two can now enter the fray at any time.

Fight as Shin Vega (True M. Bison)

Having already finished World Tour mode by reaching level 32 and defeating Shin Gouki, re-enter World Tour mode with your level 32 character and play the final "Gouki Survival" stage again. After defeating Shin Gouki again (he'll always play Z-ism), save and return to the main menu. Now you'll be able to play as Shin Vega by holding down R when choosing Vega.

Fight as Classic M. Bison (Balorg)

To play as the arcade version of M. Bison, hold R while selecting M. Bison.

Fight as Shin Gouki (True Akuma)

Highlight Gouki at the character select screen. Hold both L and R buttons and press any button besides Start. Congratulations, you are now playing as Shin Gouki!

Fight as Super Gouki (Akuma)

To play as an alternate form of Gouki, hold R while selecting Gouki.

Fight as Super Vega(M. Bison)

Complete world tour mode on the final level (32), and save the game. Hold R while choosing Vega/M.Bison at the character selection screen in training, vs., or arcade mode. You do not need to choose an ISM , as your character is in Shadaloo-ISM from the start . His ending and special moves are the same, but you can use his super strong hard punches and the Mega Psycho Crusher (which takes 70% away in one hit).

PLayer Vs. Shin Gouki (True Akuma)in Final Battle mode

To play against Shin Gouki in Final Battle mode, you need to follow these steps:

Go to Final Battle mode
At the character select screen, highlight your character
Hold L and R then press any button
CONTINUE to hold L and R when you choose your ISM and through the screen that is loading

Player Vs. Super Gouki (Akuma)

To fight against the alternate Gouki, hold L + R while choosing a fighter in Final Battle mode.

View Ryu's End Sequence

To see Ryu's end sequence, select Vega (M. Bison) and intentionally loose the final battle.

View Vega (M. Bison ) End Sequence

To see Vega's end sequence, select Ryu and intentionally loose the final battle. (Note: Other characters used during the quest to the final battle will be included in Vega's ending as well.)
