Alternate Introduction

Accumulate forty-eight hours of game play on the timer in the options menu. Then, instead of showing the arcade characters, the opening sequence will shows all the new characters (including Guile and Evil Ryu). Alternatively, unlock all character endings including the bonus characters.

Bonus Modes

Beat Dramatic Battle mode with Ryu/Ken and Juni/Jill to unlock two bonus modes.

Dramatic and Final Battle Modes

Beat Arcade mode on any difficulty level.

Fight Shin Akuma in Final Battle Mode

Select Final Battle mode. Then, select a character and hold L1 + L2 before the versus screen appears.

Fight as Classic Balrog

To play as the arcade version of Balrog, choose a character whose level of experience is below 30. Then defeat M. Bison in the final stage of the World Tour. (Note: To select him, hold L2 and choose Balrog.)

Fight as Evil Ryu

To play as Evil Ryu, raise a character to an experience level of 31. Then defeat Evil Ryu in the first bonus stage of the World Tour.

Fight as Guile

To play as Guile, raise a character to an experience level of 30. Then defeat Guile in the second bonus stage of the World Tour.

Fight as Shin Akuma

To play as Shin Akuma, raise a character to an experience level of 32. Then defeat Shin Akuma in the final bonus stage of the World Tour. (Note: To select him, hold L2 and choose Akuma.)

Play as Evil Ryu and Guile

To play as Evil Ryu and Guile, beat them in Dramatic Mode.

Play as Evil Ryu, Evil Ken, and Super Cody

To play as Evil Ryu,Evil Ken and Super Cody,press L1,L2,R1,R2 then press start to select them. (NOTE: We're not sure where to enter this code, best bet would be the title screen)

Depending upon whether the title was produced for the domestic (Japanese) market or a foreign one, some characters assume different names.

Time-activated Cheats

To unlock a time activated, the game must be running for the indicated hours.

All modes -- 96 hours
Alternate opening sequence -- 48 hours
Classic character mode -- 3 hours
Low guard mode (Saikyo) -- 4 hours
Low guard mode (Maji) -- 5 hours

Unlock All Modes

To unlock all of the hidden modes, complete the Arcade Mode at a difficulty level of 8.

Fight in Chun-Li's Classic Costume

In the Character Select screen, choose X-ism for Chun-Li's fighhting style. When you begin the fight, Chun-Li will appear in her classic Street Fighter 2 garb.
