Cheat List

Beat the game once, and these codes will unlock. To make them work, go to the pause menu, hold all of the shoulder buttons (R1, R2, L1, L2), then press the buttons listed below to activate the corresponding cheat:

• Invulnerability - SQUARE, CIRCLE, SQUARE, UP
• Restore Health - SQUARE, SQUARE, CIRCLE, CIRCLE
• All Upgrades - UP, DOWN, TRIANGLE, SQUARE
• Infinite Missiles - SQUARE, SQUARE, DOWN, CIRCLE
• Always Devastating - TRIANGLE, UP, TRIANGLE, DOWN
• Perfect Mode - CIRCLE, DOWN, TRIANGLE, X
• Targeting Indicator Mode - DOWN, CIRCLE, UP, SQUARE

JonR2006 maintains he has the solution for LotR:RotK end of the game codes. He states that once you have beaten Return of the King, the codes at the end of the game don't work. Everytime there is a DOWN, UP, RIGHT, or LEFT entry to press when putting in the code, you have to do the exact opposite.

Basically, when the code tells you to press UP, press DOWN (note UP and DOWN have been fixed on the PS2 page). When the code tells you to press RIGHT, press LEFT. Do note change the instructions for CIRCLE, SQUARE, TRIANGLE, or X (keep them the same).

Complete the Crack of Doom to unlock the Plantair of Saruman.
To unlock the Plantair of Sauron, you need to beat the Crack of Doom level, and reach level 10 with Gandalf, Sam, and either Aragorn, Legolas, or Gimli.

Hint: Hidden experience runes

When playing "Minas Tirith - Top of the Wall" and you have defeated all of the siege towers--when you don't have to worry about the ladders anymore--go towards the stairway to leave. But instead of going down the stairs, go to your left (characters' right) up the tower and there will be about seven experience runes. They will give you 1,000 experience points each.
