Pick all three stars in clubs slots and get all clubs to choose from.

To activate a cheat, highlight Clubhouse option at the main menu and press Z + R + A, then enter its corresponding code:

Change your Outfits

When you're choosing your character, you can change the outfits by holding one of the C-buttons.

Code Entry Screen

To access the password screen, highlight the OPTIONS menu on the main menu, then press and hold Z followed by R and A. The CODE ENTRY option will appear on the next screen.

Compliments

To encourage your opponent using one of four lines of praise, push d-pad UP, DOWN, LEFT, or RIGHT during their turn.

Faster Game Play

If you hold the Z-trigger down continously while playing, the ball will zip right to a stop instead of creeping along course. Speeds up game play basically.

Left-handed Golfer

For a left-handed golfer, press the Z or L buttons while you're choosing a character.

Mario Star Course

To access the Mario Star course, get 2,200 points after first unlocking the first four (five total) other courses.

Play as Bowser

To play as Bowser, beat him in "Get Character" mode. (Prerequisite: Luigi, Yoshi, Sonny, Wario, Harry and Mario must be playable characters.)

Play as Donkey Kong

To play as Donkey Kong, get 30 points in Ring mode. (Prerequisite: none)

Play as Golden Mario

To access Golden Mario you must first get all 108 birdie badges in tournament mode (18 on each course). Then when you access Metal Mario go to "choose character", highlight Metal Mario and hold C-Left followed by pressing A. You will now have Golden Mario.

Play as Harry

To play as Harry, beat him in "Get Character" mode. (Prerequisite: Luigi, Yoshi, Sonny and Wario must be playable characters)

Play as Luigi

To play as Luigi, beat him in "Get Character" mode. (Prerequisite: none)

Play as Maple

To play as Maple, acquire 50 Birdie Badges in Tournament mode. (Prerequisite: none)

Play as Mario

To play as Mario, beat him in "Get Character" mode. (Prerequisite: Luigi, Yoshi, Sonny, Wario and Harry must be playable characters)

Play as Metal Mario

To play as Metal Mario, acquire 108 Birdie Badges in Tournament mode. (Prerequisite: none)

Play as Sonny

To play as Sonny, beat him in "Get Character" mode. (Prerequisite: Luigi and Yoshi must be playable characters)

Play as Wario

To play as Wario, beat him in "Get Character" mode. (Prerequisite: Luigi, Yoshi and Sonny must be playable characters)

Play as Yoshi

To play as Yoshi, beat him in "Get Character" mode. (Prerequisite: Luigi must be a playable character)

Replay a Hole

To replay a hole, pause the game and save your progress. Then, from the main menu, continue your saved game. You will tee off from the same hole!

Taunts

To rib your opponent using one of four wacky lines, push up-C, down-C, left-C, or right-C during their turn.

Unlimited Power Shots

If you get a perfect shot ("Nice shot!") while using a power shot, the number of power shots won't go down.

Transfer Pak Trick

To get four extra characters use a transfer pak and transfer them from the Game Boy Color version of the game.
