Beat 'em While They're Down

After defeating your opponents, press and hold START. Normally your character wont be able to move after the round is over but by holding START you will not only be able to move freely (until the next round starts) but you will be able to hit your opponent and even do a Super on them!

Change Character Lineup

Press all three Punch buttons at the 'vs.' screen to change the lineup (second chosen character is now first up.) You can repeat this code again to reset the lineup.

Change Ryu's Gi Red

To change Ryu's "gi" red - his jacket and drawstring pants - choose him as one of your characters. And after reaching level 1, perform the Hurricane Kick (rotate the joystick in a half moon), but instead of pressing a kick button press all three punch buttons!

Choose Your Helper

To obtain the helper of you choice, you must always hold down start and then the designated buttons, just before selecting your second character.

Dark Charlie-As your special partner

To have Dark Charlie as your special partner, simultaneously press Light Punch, Medium Kick and Hard Punch after you choose your team.

Defeat Onslaught in both forms

To defeat Onslaught in the first form,choose hyper venom as your first character,Ryu as your 2nd character and Sentinel as your helper.At the starting,Onslaught(in his fist form)will teleport near you and use his attack power.Send out Sentinel once he has stopped, then Onslaught will be stunned,control hyper venom to get near him(very near) and start pressing hard kick rapidly,continue to do this if he starts teleporting again. To beat Onslaught in his second form use hyper venom(if he is not dead yet)super jump and do a fireball motion in the air.Keep this up until hyper venom dies.Then use Ryu and do the fireball super(you will most likely to have reach level three)and aim at Onslaught's face Beware of his dash and his magnetic pull!

Defeat Onslaught1

Use Roll to easily defeat Onslaught 1. He's small enough to walk under the attacks without having to dodge them. Without using a super move, plummet Onslaught1 with basic attacks.

Fight Hyper Chun Li

At every stage, use Special Partner (MP + MK) at least once. Get a Character Switch Finishes (HP + HK) in every stage and a Special Partner Finish (MP + MK), without losing a character in any match before reaching Stage 6. At stage 6, the words "Here Comes A New Challenger" will appear and Chun Li will be your next opponent.

Fight Hyper Hulk

To fight an (Onslaught Powered) Wolverine/Hulk team, You must win the first six battles with all supers and not lose any characters along the way. When Stage 7 starts, you start normally. A second later the screen goes dark and says, "HERE COMES A NEW CHALLENGER." Now you see the Hulk with a shadow of Onslaught behind him. You must beat this team to get back to Stage 7.

Fight Hyper Venom

Change leader at the start of every stage by holding one punch button. Get First Attack in all stages. Get 6 Character Switch Finishes (HP + HK) and a Special Partner Finish (MP + MK), without losing a character in any match before reaching Stage 6. At stage 6, the words "Here Comes A New Challenger" will appear. An Onslaught version of Venom will be your next opponent.

Fight Hyper War Machine

Get two Character Switch finishes (HP + HK) without losing a character in any match before reaching Stage 6.At stage 6, the words "Here Comes A New Challenger" will appear. An Onslaught version of War Machine will be your next opponent.

Fight Lilith

At every stage, use Special Partner (MP + MK) at least once. Get 2 Team Super Finishes (D, DF, F + HP + HK) and a Special Partner Finish (MP + MK), without losing a character in any match before reaching Stage 6. At stage 6, the words "Here Comes A New Challenger" will appear and Lilith will be your next opponent.

Fight Roll

At every stage, use Special Partner (MP + MK) at least once. Get 2 Character Switch Finishes (HP + HK) and a Special Partner Finish (MP + MK), without losing a character in any match before reaching Stage 6. At stage 6, the words "Here Comes A New Challenger" will appear and Roll will be your next opponent.

Freeze Your Opponent

To freeze your opponent, use Venom and Spiderman. Build up your meter to level 3, do an infinite combo attack, then use fierce throw with Venom to catch your opponent in web. Right when you do that throw Spiderman's web ball (fireball). If you're fast enough, you should have double webbed the guy and he can't move until you hit him. Now you have all the time in the world to build up your meter and do whatever you want.

Helper Steal

To steal your opponents' helper in a one-player game, you must first beat them. Then, after you do this and the screen says who won, hold all three kicks until the next match begins. Your helper will be the one that the previous team was using!

Invincibility

Choose any two characters. Let your first charater die ON THE FIRST MATCH. When the second character come in, make sure he is hurt until he can only have a pixel of energy. After that, finish your special partner and throw a super. Finish the match. From the next match until the end of the game, you are immune to any kinds of hits!

MegaMan's 1000 Point Cheat

After beating the other team with MegaMan, you press start and then do MegaMan's super (Hyper MegaMan). When you are in the middle of the screen the background will change and the number 1,000 will be shown on MegaMan's chest (For a split second only.) Then the two characters MegaMan and the other person you pick will cover it up. This gives you a 1,000 point bonus.

MegaMan's 50,000 Point Cheat

After beating a person with MegaMan, do a Beat Plane when your point total starts to come up. If done correctly it won't fade away and you will see the 50,000 point announcement come up.

Name Change

When the game asks you to enter your name enter three dashes (-). After you hit end the game will change the line to SIN. If you enter your name as MMM it will change to MOT and AAA will change to CAP.

New Weapon For Megaman

Defeat Onslaught using Megaman to land the final blow. This will lead to a cut-scene showing the new attack.

Play As Lilith

Move your cursor to Zangief,and then move your cursor in these following directions. Lilith will appear below War Machine`s selection box:Left (2x), Down (2x), Right (2x), Up (2x), Down (2x), Left (2x), Up (4x), Right, Left, Down (4x), Right (2x), Up (4x), Left (2x), Down (4x), Right, Down.

Play as Gold War Machine

At the character selection screen, highlight Zangief and press: Left (x2), Down (x2), Right (x2), Down (x2), Left (x2), Up (x4), Right (x2), Left (x2), Down (x4), Right (x2), Up (x2), Left (x2), Down (x2), Right (x2), Down (x4). (Upon correct entry, Gold War Machine will appear above Zangief.) Gold War Machine resembles War Machine but has poorer blocking abilities.

Play as Onslaught in the Japanese Version

Go to Zangief, hold START and move the joystick 20 times in a clockwise direction before the timer runs out. Now, press all six buttons and this should select Onslaught.

Play as Orange Hulk

At the character selection screen, highlight Chun Li and press: Right (x2), Down (x2), Left (x2), Right (x2), Down (x2), Left (x2), Up (x4), Down (x2), Right (x2), Up (x2), Down (x4), Up (x4), Left, Up. (Upon correct entry, Orange Hulk will appear above Chun Li.) Orange Hulk combines the speed of Wolverine with the strength of Hulk.

Play as Red Venom

At the character selection screen, highlight Chun Li and press: Right, Down (x4), Left, Up (x4), Right (x2), Down (x2), Left (x2), Down (x2), Right (x2), Up (x4), Left (x2), Up. (Upon correct entry, Red Venom will appear above Chun Li.) Red Venom is a speedier version of Venom.

Play as Roll

At the character selection screen, highlight Zangief and press: Left (x2), Down (x2), Right (x2), Down (x2), Left (x2), Up, Right, Up (x2), Right (x2). (Upon correct entry, Roll will appear above MegaMan.) Roll looks like MegaMan but executes moves differently.

Play as Shadow Lady

At the character selection screen, highlight Morrigan and press: Up, Right (x2), Down (x4), Left (x2), Up (x4), Right (x2), Left (x2), Down (x2), Right (x2), Down (x2), Left (x2), Up (x2), Right (x2), Up (x2), Left (x2), Down (x6). (Upon correct entry, Shadow Lady will appear below Gambit.
